Multi-award winning director, writer and producer with over 20 years’ experience in film and television, making films, series and content for the BBC, Sky, CBS, Google, Hyundai, Redbull and many more.

Paul made his name in British comedy starting out on ground-breaking Channel 4 series ‘The Friday Night Project’ and going on to work with major comedy names from Jennifer Saunders to James Corden, Simon Pegg to Sara Pascoe, Joe Lycett to Jimmy Fallon (and Mr Blobby).

In 2018, Paul was BAFTA-nominated for his short horror film The Blue Door, written by Megan Pugh and Ben Clark and staring Game of Thrones actor Gemma Whelan. The film was optioned by Steven Spielberg’s studio Amblin.

In 2024, Paul was part of the team honoured with a special BAFTA-award for Horrible Histories - in recognition of the cultural and social impact the show has had over the years.

Paul’s not a huge fan of cheese. But thinks it’s alright.
